       INTRODUCTION:  | 
  
| Sololo has picked off as a district very fast .some heads of government departments have been posted to the district | 
| Services have been brought closer to people. | 
| CIPAD is a committee member of Sololo district steering group (DSG). | 
| The care and support for home based (OVC) continued with financial support from CCM . | 
| CIPAD is grateful for the funds of Ksh 428,000 from September to December 2009. | 
| This fund s were received through our OVC bank account .Ksh214000 was received on 06/11/2009 and another ksh 214,000 was received on 22/12/2009. | 
| This fund was utilized for purchase of food ration for four months from September to December . | 
| It also included administrative cost of ksh 28,000 for four months covering September to December. | 
| The administrative cost covers bank charges, office rent, stationeries’, communication, and printing, photocopy services and travel expenses for cash withdrawal from Moyale. | 
| CIPAD appreciates and welcomes continued collaboration and partnership with CCM. |

| The number of house hold has increased from 101 to 105 house hold while the number of children is at 308. |

| The numbers of PLWAS have increased to 44 persons. | 
| The number by gender 37 female and 7 male. | 
| Among them there are 8 children: 3boys and 5 girls. | 
| 6 of this child are in school and one under one year. | 
| PLHW continued to get nutritional support and payment of medical bills by FHI | 
 
        FUTURE ACTIVITIES  | 
  
| 1. Training of guardians of OVC or child rights and care. | 
| 2. Creation of awareness for community leaders and community members on OVC and obbitu children home | 
| 3. Work closely with District children officer to select and admit children to the village. |
